The documentary will also feature aspects of participants’ personal lives to better understand the perspectives that shape their views.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate as a featured subject in a documentary film
• Perform stand-up comedy material related to current events and political topics
• Take part in filmed discussions and activities with individuals holding differing viewpoints
• Participate in a rafting experience and related documentary events
• Allow filming of select aspects of personal and professional life
• Collaborate with the documentary team throughout production

Requirements

• Stand-up comedian with strong progressive or left-leaning political viewpoints
• Comfortable discussing political opinions on camera
• Ability to engage respectfully with differing perspectives
• Strong stage presence and stand-up comedy experience
• Available to travel to Bryson City, North Carolina
• Comfortable participating in a documentary exploring political and social issues
• New York-area comedians preferred

Compensation

• $500 flat participation fee
