Casting Call: LEGO Film – Seeking Young Girls and a Parent

Job Details: We are excited to announce a casting call for a unique and insightful film for LEGO, centered on the theme of navigating societal pressures towards perfection. This project aims to explore and showcase the nuanced experiences faced by young girls in today’s world.

Roles Available:

• Child Actors: We are looking for 6 to 8 girls, aged between 6 to 11 years old. The children will be required to act in various scenes that reflect the central theme of the film.
• Parent Role: Alongside the child actors, we are also seeking a parent who will participate in specific scenes to provide a familial context to the storyline.

Job Responsibilities:

• For Child Actors:
  • Participate in rehearsals as scheduled.
  • Act in various scenes according to the director’s guidance.
  • Collaborate with other cast members and crew.
• For Parent Role:
  • Act in scenes requiring parental presence.
  • Support the child actor(s) during the shoot.
  • Engage with the film’s theme and provide authentic portrayal.

Requirements:

• Child actors must be between 6 to 11 years old.
• No prior acting experience is required, but a comfortable and natural presence in front of the camera is preferred.
• Parent and child must be available for the entire shoot duration.
• Legal guardian consent is required for all child actors.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to different filming scenarios.

Compensation Details:

• Child Shoot Fee: £200 per child.
• Parent Fee: £300 for the day.
• Usage Fee: An additional £1,000 will be paid collectively if featured in the final edit of the film.
