Job Description
A student filmmaker is building a small, passionate crew for a character-driven indie romantic comedy. The story follows a tightly-wound financial analyst who makes a petty bet on a first date with an artsy filmmaker. What starts as a wager turns into a transformative journey as he learns that creativity isn’t just for artists—and maybe, just maybe, falls in love along the way.
This low-budget, non-union project offers a collaborative environment ideal for emerging talent eager to work on a heartfelt story with emotional and comedic arcs. Rates will be determined by experience and scope of work.
Job Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with director and crew to execute the film’s vision

Contribute creatively to the visual and auditory storytelling elements

Adapt to a flexible, small-team production setup
Requirements

Experience in one or more of the following:
• Director of Photography (DP)
• Sound Mixer / Recordist
• Production Designer / Set Designer -
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Passion for storytelling with emotional nuance and humor

Must provide portfolio or previous work samples

Availability during the shoot window (late August to early September)
