String Instrument Players for Feature Film “HERSHEY”
Job Description
A major feature film is casting male musicians to portray classical string players in a visually rich performance scene. Talent must be skilled in either the violin, viola, cello, or double bass. Though no live performance is required, you will be miming the instrument authentically on camera. This is a paid background opportunity with filming taking place in Pittsburgh and Shadyside, PA.
Job Responsibilities

Mime playing your string instrument in a cinematic orchestral scene

Follow direction for timing and movement that matches the musical rhythm

Be present and prepared for a full-day shoot, including potential night scenes

Arrive fitted and costume-ready (costumes will be provided by production)
Requirements

Male, age 18+

Must have experience playing either violin, viola, cello, or double bass

Comfortable miming convincingly on camera

Must be fully available for the filming date

Filming locations: Pittsburgh, PA (May 16) or Shadyside, PA (May 21)

Compensation

$400 for up to 12 hours
