Job Description

Friendsgiving is hiring a Documentary Editor to join the creative team behind its proof-of-concept short film. The editor will help shape the film’s mock-documentary storytelling style by assembling footage into a compelling narrative that highlights character relationships, emotional moments, and dramatic tension. This role is suited for editors with strong storytelling instincts and experience working on narrative or documentary-style productions.

Job Responsibilities

• Edit footage into a polished documentary-style narrative.
• Collaborate with the director to achieve the project’s creative vision.
• Organize and manage production footage efficiently.
• Refine pacing, transitions, and story flow.
• Deliver high-quality edits within production timelines.

Requirements

• Experience editing narrative or documentary-style projects preferred.
• Proficiency with professional video editing software.
• Strong storytelling and post-production skills.
