Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the director and production team to bring the characters to life.
  • Engage with script readings and translate them into British Sign Language (BSL) or German Sign Language (DGS) as required.
  • Attend rehearsals and be committed to the filming schedule.
  • Collaborate with other actors and crew members to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment.

Requirements:

  • You must be UK-based Deaf or Hard of Hearing (HoH) talent.
  • Open to any gender and ethnicity between the ages of 21 and 50 years old.
  • Proficiency in British Sign Language (BSL) is required.
  • For one role, the ability to sign in German Sign Language (DGS) is required.
  • No previous acting experience is necessary; both seasoned actors and non-actors are encouraged to apply.
