Creative Casting Call for Social Media & Design Lead
Job Description
A creative team is seeking a Creative Content Creator / Social Media & Design Lead for an upcoming short film project titled “Bona to Vada.” This hybrid creative role blends content creation, branding, and campaign strategy, focusing on building a compelling digital presence ahead of a crowdfunding launch. The project is set in 1950s East London and explores queer Caribbean storytelling through a visually rich and culturally resonant campaign.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative content for social media campaigns
- Lead visual branding, design, and campaign storytelling
- Create social assets, teasers, and promotional materials
- Contribute to pitch decks and presentation materials
- Capture behind-the-scenes content, interviews, and campaign videos
- Plan and schedule content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Manage audience engagement and campaign growth strategies
- Support crowdfunding efforts through content creation and backer engagement
Requirements
- Experience in social media content creation, design, or digital marketing
- Strong visual storytelling skills and cohesive branding ability
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with video editing tools (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro)
- Ability to create pitch decks and campaign visuals
- Strong understanding of branding, layout, and visual consistency
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
- Passion for storytelling, film, and culturally driven projects
Compensation
- £750 fixed fee (payable from confirmed crowdfunding or grant funding)
- IMDb credit
- 2 tickets to the film premiere and after-party
- Portfolio-building opportunity and collaboration with an experienced production team
