True Crime Reenactment Series Roles

Job Description

A non-union true crime reenactment series for Oxygen Network is casting multiple roles for its upcoming production in Atlanta, Georgia. Casting directors are seeking talent for a wide range of reenactment roles, with no previous acting experience required. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring actors and newcomers to gain professional on-set experience while working on a network television series.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray characters in scripted true crime reenactment scenes.
  • Follow direction from the production team during filming.
  • Perform naturally in dramatic, non-speaking or lightly scripted scenes as assigned.
  • Maintain professionalism and continuity throughout production.

Requirements

  • Open to performers of various ages, backgrounds, and experience levels.
  • No prior acting experience required.
  • Must be able to work as a local hire in the Atlanta, Georgia area.
  • Comfortable participating in a true crime reenactment production.
  • Available during the scheduled filming window.

Compensation

  • Non-union production.
  • Rates of $150 for 8 hours or $200 for 10 hours, depending on the role.

Lead Role – Dianne for 16mm Short Film

Job Description

A non-union 16mm short film set in 1970s Southern California is seeking an actress for the lead role of Dianne. This coming-of-age story follows a shy teenager who embarks on an unexpected journey after accepting a ride to a concert from the leader of a local crew. Along the way, she challenges expectations, discovers her confidence, and experiences personal growth. This is a character-driven lead role with significant screen time and emotional depth.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray the lead character in a narrative short film
  • Deliver a nuanced and emotionally authentic performance
  • Participate in rehearsals and scheduled filming days
