Roles Available:

  1. Grimey Driver (Supporting Role)
    • Description: Male, Black, in his 40s. A Caribbean man with an arrogant demeanor, driving a van that reflects his tough personality.
    • Accent Required: Caribbean accent to bring authenticity to the role.
  2. Background Actors
    • Description: Various individuals to fill background roles, adding vibrancy to the scenes in Brooklyn.
    • Additional Requirement: Owners of vans are encouraged to apply, as the production is looking for vehicles to add realism to the setting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • For Grimey Driver: Portray the character with an authentic Caribbean presence and attitude. Follow direction to embody the character’s personality and interactions.
  • For Background Actors: Participate in various background scenes, contributing to the lively setting of the film.

Requirements:

  • Must be available for a one-day shoot in Brooklyn, NY.
  • Comfortable with following direction and collaborating with the production team.
  • Caribbean accent required for the Grimey Driver role.

Compensation:

Job Responsibilities

  • Appear in background roles representing stylized scenes such as party, beach, amusement park, and family settings
  • Follow on-set direction and remain camera-ready throughout shooting hours

  • Participate in up to 10-hour shoot days (less for minors, in accordance with labor laws)

Requirements

  • Adults must be 18+ years old
  • Minor roles:
    • “Yellow World Kid”: 6–10 years old (boy or girl)
    • “Brother’s Son”: 11–14 years old (boy)
    • “Brother’s Toddler”: 2–4 years old (boy or girl)
  • Adult roles:
    • “Party/Beach BG”: all genders, working 2 days
    • “Yellow/Red/Amusement BG”: all genders, working 2 days
    • Adult who can dress as Santa
  • Must be currently Work Permitted (minors)

Compensation

  • $220 per day (up to 10 hours or less)
  • Filming will take place in a Chicago studio
