Heather Basten Casting is casting for a 90’s-era Feature Film from BBC Film. The two lead characters are working class, free-spirited, and have a confident attitude.
You do not need to be an actor to apply! No experience needed. We are keen to meet young people from the local community.
Casting For:
- White girls / non-binary people 18 years old minimum
- South Asian or MENA girls / non-binary people 18 years old minimum.
- Big push for young people who genuinely wear a hijab
Should look young – playing age 16 years old) and be from London, Essex, or Kent.
Shooting: Spring 2022 in London. Professionally paid.

An upcoming feature film is seeking an outstanding male lead actor for a character-driven role filming in the UK. Casting is specifically looking for a gay LGBTQ+ actor who is Irish or can deliver an authentic Irish accent, ideally with ties to the Irish Traveller community. Real boxing skills are required for the role, so performers with genuine fight training and ring experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with directors and scene partners, taking adjustments quickly
