Lead Role Casting Call for Young Male Talent

Job Description

A paid feature film is searching for a talented young man from the North East of England to play the lead role in an upcoming feature film. This opportunity is open to aspiring actors with a passion for drama, and no previous acting experience is required. The production is looking for someone who can naturally portray a 16-year-old character and is eager to learn, take direction, and bring authenticity to the role. Filming will take place in Scotland and New Zealand.

Job Responsibilities

Job Description
A short film adaptation of the acclaimed novel The Panopticon is now casting teenage girls for “Anchor,” an upcoming teaser project connected to a future feature adaptation. Production is seeking authentic young talent from Edinburgh and Scotland’s East Coast for emotionally driven roles. No previous acting experience is required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray teenage characters in a dramatic short film
  • Participate in scripted scenes and rehearsals as needed
  • Follow direction from the creative and production team
  • Bring authenticity and emotional depth to performances

Requirements
