Project Overview:

We are excited to announce a casting call for real combat sports fighters for an upcoming A24 feature film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. This project is a Canadian search aimed at finding genuine talent to bring authenticity to our feature film.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray a combat sports fighter within the context of the film’s narrative.

  • Participate in physical scenes requiring combat sports expertise.

  • Collaborate with the director, actors, and crew to ensure the authenticity of fight scenes.

  • Attend costume fittings, rehearsals, and shooting days as scheduled.

Requirements:

  • Must be based in Canada.

  • Open to all ethnicities.

  • Age range: 20s to 50s.

  • Both active and retired combat sports fighters are encouraged to apply.

  • No prior acting experience necessary. Non-actors and actors are welcome.

  • Must be available for the entire shooting period from May 20th to the beginning of August 2024.

  • Union and Non-Union talent may apply.

Compensation:

  • This is a paid job opportunity. Rates will be in accordance with UBCP guidelines.
