Job Description:
An open casting call is being held for the upcoming docu-drama People of the West, which seeks Native American/Indigenous boys aged 8-11 to portray roles in this historical series. The project aims to authentically depict stories of the past, with a focus on indigenous culture and history. No prior acting experience is necessary, and the production welcomes first-time performers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in filming scenes that reflect historical events or daily life in the setting of the docu-drama.
  • Follow directions from the director to achieve authentic portrayals.
  • Work with other cast members and crew to contribute to a meaningful and respectful representation of indigenous stories.

Requirements:

  • Native American/Indigenous boys, ages 8-11.
  • Must be local to California.
  • No previous acting experience required, but an interest in performing and learning is essential.
  • If under 18, a parent or guardian must be available to accompany the child on set.

Compensation Details:

  • Pay Rate: $500+ per day.
