Creative Producer, Performance Marketing

$$$

First Media is a leading social media publishing and marketing company, at the intersection of content and commerce and driving the shoppable content revolution, with more than 200 employees, 180 million fans, and 1.5 billion monthly views. Our brands Blossom, So Yummy, Blusher, and BabyFirst inspire our global audience daily. With an average annual growth rate of 50% over the past five years and multiple Fortune 500 partners, we are leading the next generation in shoppable content.

First Media’s Performance Marketing division is one of the fastest-growing full-service Direct Response agencies. We use data to make informed decisions around creative video storytelling — rather than having the data work for us. We are constantly looking at performance data to optimize and streamline creative decisions to give our direct-to-consumer clients the best chance of success in the marketplace to grow their client base.

We’re looking for a Creative Producer to join our Performance Marketing team, based in Los Angeles (can be remote). In this role, you’ll ideate and develop thumb-stopping content for social platforms including Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram, and/or Snap. The ideal candidate has past success in the direct-to-consumer space, ideally with emerging social platforms and user-generated content.

Responsibilities:

  • Creative Ideation and Storytelling: Ideate, pitch shoot concepts, and script video concepts in a clear voice to tell a specific story about a product to a specific audience, scaling what works well and nixing what doesn’t
  • Assist other Producers and the Creative Director in turning scripts into shot lists and fully fleshed-out shoots
  • Proactively engage in meetings with the production team to determine the creative elements needed to fully execute on the concept
  • Project management: Work across brands and clients with a team of directors, editors, and producers. Able to juggle multiple concepts scripting and concepting, at the same time as other projects in post-production with a video editor
  • Occasionally direct digital media video advertisements: testimonials, food shoots/styling, glam product shoots, modeling, etc.
  • Win: Make informed decisions to capture an audience and convert them into customers

Qualifications:

  • Experience creating social-first content for clients on Facebook, Tik Tok, Instagram, and/or Snap
  • A portfolio of digital content you have helped create (or created yourself), and the ability to talk about the strategy that informed each piece in the portfolio
  • Experience in editing with Adobe Premiere, and shooting using DSLR cameras
  • Able to combine streamlined copywriting and visual narratives into one medium
  • Ability to bring ideas to life on a whiteboard, big stage presentation, or finished content

First Media provides competitive compensation and benefits, including top-shelf health insurance packages (medical, dental, and vision insurance), unlimited PTO, 401K employer matching, and so much more.

First Media is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under federal, state, or local law, where applicable, and those with criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable state and local laws.
