We are looking for an Associate Producer – Features – to join our production team. The Associate Producer will provide assistance to the feature film’s finishing producing crew. This individual will also collaborate with our production team during regular status calls, production recaps, and strategy sessions for large feature film finishing projects.
What You Will Be Doing
The Producing team oversees and manages the post-production process from the original pre-production phase through conforming, color, and distribution. The Associate Producer works with internal systems, planning, and helps teams allocate facility resources, determine project priorities, and assure completion of all intermediate processes and deadlines.
What You Need for this Position
- You have exceptional interpersonal skills, are thorough, organized, and calm and collected.
- Learn and master digital finishing workflow, covering picture capture technologies, digital camera types, best editorial methods, online-conform, contrast adjustment, LUTs, digital movies, HDR, and deliverable needs and processes.
- You are organized and meticulous.
- Feature or episodic dailies, Post Production, or VFX finishing experience.
- Capability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced situation with competing priorities and short deadlines.
- Independent and well-organized.
- Post-production scheduling and deadlines knowledge.
- Understanding of the digital editing process and offline/online relationships.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as editing, color, operations, data, and engineering.
- Strong detail-oriented and multitasking skills.
