HERE’S THE RUNDOWN:

Greatness Media is hiring a Producer who will be responsible for the strategy, creation and editing of all audio and video content. You will work closely with our Associate Producers and the other members of our creative, marketing and production teams to transform ideas into long and short form video and audio content for Greatness Media marketing, School of Greatness podcast, Youtube, American Public Television, social media and much more. The ideal candidate is experienced performing all video creation tasks including pre-production, lighting, sound, shooting, and editing. Bonus points if you have a fun personality and love to talk with people!

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Lead all video creative direction to accomplish audio and video production objectives
  • Lead strategy for production growth
  • Lead podcast guest strategy and communications such as pre-interview, interview, reporting, recording, editing and writing of scripts
  • Manage and direct all on site studio staging, lighting and equipment
  • Create and distribute social media content for promotion of podcasts
  • Manage team of editors
  • Manage the media for the archive and any future tapings, audio and video
  • Oversee refinement of current content
  • Attend regularly scheduled weekly meetings
  • Be available at short notice, including occasional weekends, as projects arise
  • Film and edit audio and video for products and services as assigned
  • And other duties as assigned

YOUR ABILITIES AND EXPERTISE:

  • 5+ years of experience in video and/or media production or journalism
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in digital media, cinematography, film studies or related field
  • Experience shooting viral short-form video content for social media
  • Some experience creating social media content
  • Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.
  • Proven work experience editing extensive video and audio content
  • Proven work experience working closely with talent (understanding the discretion needed and the processes for interacting with talent)
  • Experience in content creation with images, audio and video content for social media
  • Demonstrated video editing ability with a strong portfolio
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment on a wide variety of projects
  • Ability to perform routine video and audio equipment maintenance

This is a mid-level role that will manage the day-to-day photo, audio and video operations with the aim of building and maintaining world-class multimedia content for our brands, including NME, Guitar.com, MusicTech and Uncut.

The Multimedia Producer will be responsible for: scheduling photo and video content, commissioning contributors, booking venues and ensuring logistical requirements are met, managing a budget, checking licensing and rights, distributing content at scale, and enforcing brand guidelines.

The post will work closely in collaboration with commissioning editors, the art team and the Social Media Specialist to ensure the smooth delivery of high-quality multimedia content. Identifying content opportunities and negotiating with other editorial members of staff will also be a big part of this role.

Thorough knowledge of contemporary music and pop culture trends will be crucial, while a deep understanding of online video content, including deriving insights from analytics, is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate multimedia output with the aim of creating best-in-class content in line with brand guidelines
  • Assist in developing and implementing on-going photo, video, and audio content plans and calendars across their territory (inclusive of tentpole territory events eg. Glastonbury and the Grammys), including distribution and promotion.
  • Alongside the Multimedia Editor, initiate, ideate and execute new multimedia content initiatives across all brands
  • Collaborate with the product team on workflows to ensure the seamless production of multimedia content
  • Manage logistical, creative, and administrative tasks for multimedia projects, including issuing documentation, playlisting for NME Radio, coordinating pre- and post-production for video/photo, ensuring health and safety standards are met, assisting in processing payments, and so on
  • Ensure all copyright and licensing policies are followed and agreements in place
  • Ensure adherence to broadcasting codes where applicable
  • Onboard and commission contributing videographers/photographers and other editorial freelancers
  • Identify new technologies to aid in the production and/or performance of multimedia content
  • Report budgets and performance to the Multimedia Editor
  • Support other Multimedia Producers as and when required
  • Any other duties as the business may reasonably require

Collectively’s Production team is the creative production arm of our client services practice, responsible for leading influencer marketing projects from kick off to completion with creativity, ingenuity, and exceptional project management skills. The team charter is flawless execution and we pride ourselves on guiding our clients and influencers through each step of a project with strategic solutions along the way.

Responsibilities:

Collectively is seeking a Producer to manage multiple client projects by leading the production planning, execution, and deliverables for influencer marketing campaigns. This role reports directly to the Director of Production, and will work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver programs that vary in scale and scope.

The Producer role is responsible for two crucial areas of campaigns: Project Management and Client Services.

Project Management

  • Lead program execution of complex, multi-phase projects across a variety of client types and verticals
  • Develop and manage to program timelines and budgets, ensuring programs are delivered on time and on budget. Ensure cross-functional collaboration and contributions to projects happen successfully throughout the production phase
  • Prepare key production deliverables, including campaign briefs, activation strategies, production schedules, influencer lists, and weekly reports

  • Manage the workload of one or more Associate Producers, assigning project-related tasks and delivering feedback
  • On an as-needed basis, travel to attend and manage influencer presence at events and/or shoots

Client Services

  • Serve as the primary client point of contact during the production phase of projects
  • Lead internal and client-facing meetings, including setting agendas, speaking to campaign progress, on-the-fly strategy & problem solving, and preparing summaries/recaps
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with clients across a variety of mediums, including email, phone, in-person and slides (Keynote).
  • Prepare and organize regular campaign updates for clients
  • Partner with Brand Partnerships (Collectively’s revenue team) during key client journey moments to ensure a seamless client services experience
  • Coordinate involvement and contributions from a variety of cross-functional contributors, ensuring their work is delivered on time and on brief
  • With the support of Production leadership, troubleshoot production challenges and deliver thoughtful solutions that meet client or project needs

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years client-facing production or influencer marketing experience (in relevant marketing/advertising industry or similar)
  • Proven client services skills, including verbal, written and presentation communication abilities
