Job Description
A non-union documentary-style short film is seeking performers for an intimate, educational project that explores preparation, vulnerability, and humor in the face of uncertainty. The film follows an emerging director as she transforms the experience of anticipating breast cancer surgery into a thoughtful and human-centered documentary. The production welcomes diverse bodies and lived experiences, with some roles intended to reflect post-mastectomy or flat-chested bodies (preferred but not required).

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in a documentary or performance-based short film

• Collaborate respectfully within a sensitive, story-driven environment

• Follow direction while contributing authentic presence on camera

• Support the creative vision through openness and professionalism

Requirements

• Non-union performers

• Open to adults 18+

• Roles available for all genders and a range of age groups

• Some roles prefer performers with post-mastectomy or flat-chested bodies (not required)

• Comfortable participating in an educational and reflective film project
