Job Description
A stage production of Family Secrets is seeking a talented young actress to portray the role of Jazmine. The play explores themes of sibling rivalry, infidelity, identity, forgiveness, and the power of truth. Producers are looking for a strong performer who can bring emotional depth and authenticity to this important role.
The stage production will be performed in Decatur, Georgia, with a feature film adaptation planned for later production.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray the character of Jazmine in live stage performances.
- Attend rehearsals and scheduled production meetings.
- Memorize lines and perform scripted scenes.
- Collaborate with the director and cast members.
- Deliver emotionally authentic performances that support the story’s themes.
Requirements
- Black female.
- Ages 10–13.
- Strong, expressive, and emotionally grounded performer.
- Must be available for rehearsals and stage performances.
- Previous acting or theater experience is preferred but not required.
- Must submit a headshot and resume for consideration.
