Cinematographer Needed for Independent Feature Film ‘Assassin Within’
Job Description
A visionary independent feature film is now hiring a cinematographer for Assassin Within, scheduled to film in summer 2025. This suspenseful sci-fi thriller follows a notorious assassin trapped in a coma-induced dream world as he battles his past and a sinister AI controlling his reality. The project will shoot in Montgomery, TX, and offers a powerful opportunity to contribute to a mind-bending, character-driven story. Ideal for creatives with a cinematic eye and a passion for storytelling through visual design.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the director to define the visual tone and cinematic style
- Operate camera and manage lighting to enhance mood, tension, and atmosphere
- Work closely with the production team to execute key sequences with precision
- Assist with post-production if skilled in editing (preferred but not required)
Requirements
- Experienced cinematographer; editor skills are a strong plus
- Must provide reel and resume for consideration
- Strong knowledge of cinematic techniques, lighting setups, and camera operation
- Collaborative, creative mindset with the ability to problem-solve on set
Compensation
