An experimental short film inspired by Albert Camus’ The Stranger is seeking passionate collaborators for a visually and emotionally driven project. Set in the 1980s, “MAMAN” tells the story of a mother and son navigating the quiet endurance of life in a collapsing farmhouse. This film explores emotion, silence, and resilience through a poetic, visual narrative.
Job Responsibilities

Perform roles that require emotional depth and subtle expression

Collaborate closely with the director and cinematographer to convey nuanced storytelling

Participate in a small, creative team focused on artistic exploration

Contribute to the proof of concept for a future feature adaptation
Requirements

Female, 30–40, to play the Mother (lead): quiet strength, emotional depth, subtle performance

Male, 35–45, to play the Father: tender yet volatile, controlled intensity

Male, 35–45, to play the Priest (supporting): rural presence, expressive, minimal dialogue

Male, 10–15, to play Young Meursault: silent observer, emotionally unreadable

Must be available to travel and self-cover travel costs
