An upcoming scripted social media series titled 16 is casting actors for principal roles in a character-driven drama. The series follows four friends who unexpectedly travel back to 2016, giving them the opportunity to relive the culture, relationships, and defining moments of that era. As they navigate the past, they must confront old memories, unresolved challenges, and life-changing decisions.

Job Responsibilities

Cece

• Female, 20s–30s.
• Emotionally complex character requiring strong acting range.
• Appears nonchalant and emotionally guarded.
• Compassionate beneath a tough exterior.
• Stylish and fashion-conscious.
• Character carries unresolved trauma that influences relationships and decision-making.

Layla

• Female, 20s–30s.
• Fun-loving, charismatic, and naturally comedic.
• Acts as a grounding force within the friend group.
• Fashionable with a polished “it-girl” aesthetic.
• Comes from a wealthy family background.
• Requires an actress capable of balancing humor, confidence, and emotional sincerity.

Additional Requirements

• Must be located in the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) area.
• Prior acting experience preferred.
• Must be reliable, professional, and comfortable performing on camera.
• Additional project details will be provided during the audition process.
