Job Description
The upcoming feature film UnMASKed is casting lead and supporting actors for a dark horror-comedy production filming in the Philadelphia and Bucks County area. The project combines elements of comedy, horror, music, and drama, offering performers the opportunity to portray memorable characters in a unique genre film.
Actors with strong comedic timing, dramatic range, musical abilities, or stage presence are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray assigned characters in a feature-length horror-comedy film.
- Attend rehearsals, filming dates, and production meetings as required.
- Collaborate with the director and cast to develop authentic performances.
- Follow on-set direction and production schedules.
- Participate in scenes involving special effects makeup and mature subject matter when required by the role.
Requirements
Amanda / The Mask (Lead)
- Female, mid-to-late 20s.
- Lead singer of a local band.
- Strong dramatic and comedic acting ability.
- Comfortable with sensitive subject matter and simulated gore.
- Must be comfortable wearing prosthetics and special effects makeup.
- Singing ability preferred but not required.
Jackson (Supporting)
- Male, mid-to-late 20s.
- Amanda’s best friend and bandmate.
- Easygoing personality with strong comedic and dramatic range.
- Guitar-playing experience preferred but not required.
Patrick (Supporting)
- Male, mid-to-late 30s.
- Band manager, producer, and Amanda’s former boyfriend.
- Strong dramatic acting skills required.
- Guitar-playing experience preferred but not required.
