An independent short film is casting two featured roles for an upcoming production in Louisville, Kentucky, and surrounding areas. The story explores themes of judgment, humanity, and truth following a life-changing encounter with law enforcement. This is a character-driven project seeking authentic performances for emotionally impactful roles.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a featured character in an independent short film.
• Collaborate with the director and cast during production.
• Deliver natural and emotionally compelling performances.
• Attend filming on scheduled production days.

Requirements

• Casting the following roles:
  • Marcus: African American male, late 20s to late 30s.
  • Lyla: African American girl, ages 4–5.
• Previous acting experience is preferred but not required.
