Job Responsibilities

• Perform in scripted scenes for a narrative short film

• Take direction from the director and collaborate with cast and crew

• Deliver natural, believable performances that support character-driven storytelling

• Participate in self-tape auditions as part of the submission process

Requirements

• Must be able to work in the Bay Area, CA (local hire)

• Roles available:

  • Young Boy: 7 years old, Asian, black hair — observant “wallflower” type

  • 4 Young Girls: Ages 6–10 — a group of close friends who grew up doing ballet together

  • Nurse (Carolina): Ages 20–40 — caregiver at a nursing home; warm, sincere presence

• Comfortable working on an intimate, story-focused short film set
