The Talent Group was founded in 1994 by Stephen Black and Richard Kohn becoming the first SAG-AFTRA franchised talent agency in Pittsburgh. Together they have over seventy-five years combined experience in the entertainment industry; in front of the camera, as agents and in television and film production. Mr. Black was a successful actor,director and highly respected acting teacher in New York, Toronto and Los Angeles. Mr. Kohn was a voice-over agent at J. Michael Bloom & Associates in New York and then worked in Los Angeles, as Director of Program Development for D. L. Taffner where he developed television pilots for all four major networks. The Talent Group represents a strong and diverse roster of both Union and Non-Union talent. As well as having the top print, on-camera and voice talent in the region, The Talent Group represents an incredibly strong roster of models, actors and national voice performers in Los Angeles, New York, Toronto and across the country. As such, our clients include some of the top advertising agencies, recording studios and production companies nationally and internationally, as well as the best photographers, studios and agencies locally. The Talent Group also has a strong Trade Show & Live Events department supplying spokesmodels, product specialists, stylists and promotional models across the country for live events, trade shows, conventions, meetings and other corporate events. Home Furnishing Store Commercial Casting Call

Job Description
A home furnishing store campaign is now casting men and women for a paid photo and video shoot filming near New York City. Casting directors are looking for diverse talent ages 55–73 with authentic personalities and relatable looks to appear in lifestyle-focused promotional content. This is a high-paying opportunity for talent interested in commercial print and video work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participate in a professional photo and video shoot
  • Follow creative direction from the production team
  • Appear in lifestyle scenes for commercial advertising
  • Travel to the filming location as scheduled

Requirements

  • Women ages 55–73, sizes 6–14
  • Men ages 55–73 with medium to larger frames
  • Open to African American, Biracial, Hispanic, Asian, and Caucasian talent
  • Comfortable appearing in commercial photo and video content
  • Must be available to travel for filming near New York City

Compensation

  • $3,000–$4,000 pay rate
  • $350 travel reimbursement for gas and hotel expenses

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedule and organize on-camera auditions

  • Support agents with various administrative tasks

Requirements

  • Well organized, tech savvy, and reliable

  • Excellent communication skills and a creative mindset

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced office

  • Conscientious and detail-oriented

  • Interest in film, theater, or acting is a plus

  • No prior entertainment industry experience required

  • Must be able to work on-site; this is not a remote position
