Festival Content Creator and Social Media Correspondent

Job Description

A community festival is seeking a creative and social media-savvy content creator to capture the excitement of a live event. This paid opportunity is perfect for creators who enjoy producing engaging short-form content, documenting memorable moments, and connecting with attendees through authentic storytelling. If you’re passionate about social media and event coverage, this is your chance to showcase your skills at a vibrant festival.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create Instagram Stories, Reels, and other short-form content throughout the festival.
  • Capture candid moments, live performances, workshops, vendors, activities, and attendees.
  • Conduct short on-camera interviews with artists, vendors, musicians, organizers, and festival guests.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos for future marketing and promotional use.
  • Deliver all raw photo and video assets after the event.

Requirements

  • Experience creating engaging social media content.
  • Strong photography and videography skills.
  • Must have your own smartphone and basic content creation equipment.
  • Available for the full duration of the festival, including setup through peak event hours.
  • Comfortable interacting with attendees and conducting on-camera interviews.
  • Portfolio or examples of previous content creation work are preferred.

Compensation

  • $25 per hour.
  • Opportunity to build your portfolio while covering a live festival event.
  • Work alongside an energetic event team creating engaging digital content.
