Job Description

An up-and-coming student film production is holding auditions for Tribute, a mockumentary-style short film that follows an up-and-coming band as they’re interviewed for a documentary—only for the audience to discover that the band isn’t as close as they appear.

This project offers a fun and dynamic opportunity for actors to explore ensemble storytelling and character-driven comedy.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray assigned roles authentically and collaboratively with the director and cast.

• Attend rehearsals and filming sessions as scheduled.

• Work as part of an ensemble to capture both comedic and dramatic tension.

• Follow direction and maintain professionalism during production.

Roles Needed

• Jack (Vocals): Confident, organized, charismatic.

• Jesse (Keyboard): Shy, awkward, yet pleasant and likable.

• Jordan (Guitar): Aloof, direct, sarcastic, occasionally rude.

• Junior (Bass): Cheerful, upbeat, and full of energy.

• Jules (Drums): Relaxed, silly, and easygoing “pothead” personality.

• Interviewer: Professional, curious, and probing journalist-style demeanor.

Requirements

• Open to ages 18 and older.

• Musical experience preferred but not required.

• Must be able to attend auditions and filming dates in Austin, TX.

• Must be comfortable performing on camera and collaborating in a creative environment.
