Job Description
A student short film titled Summer is seeking actors for several supporting and featured roles. Filming will take place in the UBC and Greater Vancouver area. This non-union production explores themes of adulthood, relationships, self-discovery, and personal growth through an ensemble cast of compelling characters.
Actors of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to apply. The lead role has already been cast, and production is currently seeking performers for key supporting and featured characters.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray assigned characters in a scripted short film.
- Attend rehearsals and filming as scheduled.
- Collaborate with directors, cast members, and crew.
- Deliver authentic and emotionally engaging performances.
- Follow production direction and maintain professionalism on set.

Lucy (Supporting)

Olivia (Featured)
- Female, early 20s.

Dante (Featured)
- Male, 20s.

- Confident and driven with an intense presence.
Mark (Featured)
- Male, ages 30–40s.
- Additional character details provided by production.
Requirements
- Open to actors of all backgrounds and experience levels.
- Headshot required.
- Résumé preferred but not required.
- Acting reel or additional acting materials welcome but optional.
- Must be available to work in the Greater Vancouver area.
- Comfortable working on a student film production.
