Job Responsibilities

• Portray emotional depth in subtle, non-verbal performance

• Collaborate with an indie film director to bring character motivations to life

• Participate in a short film shoot with limited dialogue, emphasizing visual storytelling

• Engage in character-driven scenes that explore romantic tension and self-discovery

Requirements

• Age range: 17–25

• Role of Danny: Male, Chinese or Caucasian; introspective, uncertain, quietly hopeful

• Role of Alex: Female, Caucasian (preferred) or Chinese; high-achieving, confident, values authenticity

• Must be non-union

• Submit demo reel and headshots for consideration

• Comfortable portraying emotional vulnerability and romantic dynamics

Compensation

• Unpaid; lunch and craft services provided

• Cast will receive a copy of the final film for their acting reels

• Sides for audition provided to selected candidates
