Job Description
A new mobile app is producing a non-union microdrama and is currently casting young performers to portray high school and college-aged characters. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fresh, digital-first project aimed at showcasing diverse stories through fast-paced, mobile-friendly storytelling. Talent will be featured in scripted episodes filmed in Ottawa this September.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray high school or college-aged students in short-form scripted scenes

• Participate in dialogue-driven and emotionally expressive performances

• Take direction well and adapt quickly to production needs

• Represent modern youth culture authentically and dynamically

Requirements

• Ages 18–26

• All genders and ethnicities encouraged to apply

• Must be non-union

• Available for in-person or virtual auditions (Ontario-based performers preferred for virtual)

Casting directors are looking for youth performers to play high school students in an upcoming production shooting throughout July. This is a great opportunity for emerging talent to gain on-set experience in a professional environment. No previous acting experience is required—just enthusiasm, reliability, and a believable high school look.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray high school students in background or featured roles

• Follow on-set direction and maintain professional behavior during filming

• Be available for one or multiple filming dates in July

• Collaborate with production crew and other talent on location

Requirements

• Ages 16 to 25

• Must be available for at least one of the scheduled July filming dates

• Must be located in or near Ottawa and surrounding areas

• Open to both union and non-union talent

• No prior experience necessary

Contortionist for TV Series Role as a Contorted Ghost

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled contortionist to portray a contorted ghost in an upcoming TV series. This unique role requires exceptional flexibility and physical control to create a haunting and memorable character.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform as a contorted ghost, utilizing advanced contortion skills to achieve the desired visual effect.
• Follow the director’s instructions and adapt to the creative vision of the production team.
• Collaborate with other cast members and crew to ensure a seamless performance.
• Attend rehearsals and fittings as required.

Requirements:

• Professional contortionist with proven experience.
• Ability to perform complex contortion poses and movements.
• Comfortable performing in front of a camera and following detailed direction.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work in the specified location for the duration of the shoot.
