A paid production is casting background performers for an elegant black tie gala scene filming in Sudbury, Ontario. Casting directors are seeking individuals ages 12 and older who own formal black tie attire and can help create an upscale event atmosphere. Both union and non-union performers are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray guests at a formal black tie gala.
• Wear appropriate black tie attire during filming.
• Follow direction from the production team.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform swing dance routines on camera as directed.

• Open to experienced swing dance couples only.

• Must be local to Sudbury or surrounding areas.

• Include a skill video demonstrating swing dance ability.

Youth Performers for Mobile App Microdrama

Job Description
A new mobile app is producing a non-union microdrama and is currently casting young performers to portray high school and college-aged characters. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fresh, digital-first project aimed at showcasing diverse stories through fast-paced, mobile-friendly storytelling. Talent will be featured in scripted episodes filmed in Ottawa this September.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray high school or college-aged students in short-form scripted scenes

• Participate in dialogue-driven and emotionally expressive performances

• Take direction well and adapt quickly to production needs

• Represent modern youth culture authentically and dynamically

Requirements

• Ages 18–26

• All genders and ethnicities encouraged to apply

• Must be non-union

• Available for in-person or virtual auditions (Ontario-based performers preferred for virtual)
