Job Description: Director Cody Lightning is casting for his upcoming feature film Smudge the Blades, a coming-of-age hockey comedy. We are seeking Indigenous hockey players aged 16-25 for major roles in the film. The production will take place in Alberta, with travel provided for out-of-town cast members. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring actors to be part of a well-paid film production, regardless of acting experience. Both union and non-union actors may apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray a hockey player in a coming-of-age comedy film.
- Perform in various hockey scenes, showcasing your athletic skills on the ice.
- Collaborate with the cast and production team to deliver authentic performances in both hockey and non-hockey scenes.
Requirements:
- Age Range: 16-25 years old.
- Ethnicity: Indigenous.
- Citizenship: Must be Canadian.
- Skills: Hockey skills are required, but no acting experience is necessary.
- Must be comfortable on camera and available for filming in Alberta.
Compensation Details:
