Job Description:
An independent horror series is seeking a skilled SFX Makeup Artist for a two-night shoot in Central New York. This project offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, professional environment while creating horror, beauty, and character looks for an upcoming production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and apply special effects makeup for horror scenes
- Collaborate with the director, cast, and production team to achieve desired looks
- Maintain continuity of makeup across shoot days
- Ensure all makeup applications are safe, efficient, and camera-ready
Requirements:
- Open to amateur, emerging, and experienced SFX makeup artists
- Experience or interest in horror, beauty, or character makeup
- Ability to work collaboratively on set
- Strong attention to detail and creativity
- Must be available for two shoot nights in Central New York
Compensation:
- Paid for both shoot nights
- Travel included
