Sien Josephine Casting

Sien Josephine is a casting director based in Antwerp, Belgium. Originally trained in law, she discovered her passion for casting in 2011 and never looked back. In 2015, she founded Sien Josephine Casting, quickly establishing herself as a trusted name in casting. She works closely with directors and producers to shape stories through casting, searching for talent—whether trained actors or first-time performers—who bring depth and truth to the screen. Beyond casting, Sien is passionate about elevating the profession and creating greater industry access. She serves on the Board of CSA Global Chapter, the Advisory Board of the ICDA, and the Board of the Ostend Film Festival. In 2024 she was nominated for a Casting Society Artios Award for her work on Julie Keeps Quiet.
