A growing surf and lifestyle retreat brand is seeking a Retreat Host and Photographer to join its team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences while creating engaging visual content. The selected candidate will play a key role in hosting guests, capturing professional photo and video content, supporting retreat operations, and contributing to the growth of a dynamic retreat business. Job Responsibilities
- Welcome and host guests throughout retreat experiences
- Create a positive, memorable, and engaging atmosphere for participants
- Capture high-quality photography and videography content
- Film surf sessions for video analysis and coaching reviews
- Produce content for social media, marketing, and promotional campaigns
- Assist with retreat logistics and day-to-day operations
- Support brand storytelling through visual content creation
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the guest experience
Requirements
- Active surfer with a passion for surf culture
- Based in Australia
- Photography and content creation experience
- Own professional photography equipment, including a lens suitable for surf filming
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel for retreats
- Valid ABN required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excited to grow with the business long-term
- Preference for candidates based in the Northern Rivers region
- Applicants from the Gold Coast may also be considered
