Job Description:
A student filmmaker from Emerson College is casting for a heartfelt short film exploring identity, memory, and cultural reflection. The project is seeking Japanese or half-Japanese women aged 25–35 and 50+ for lead and supporting roles in a non-union production. The film centers on a Japanese graphic designer confronting her past after reconnecting with her teenage self during a New Year’s visit home.
Job Responsibilities:

Portray emotionally nuanced characters with depth and cultural authenticity

Participate in a fall shoot around the Boston area

Memorize lines and perform for camera in both present-day and flashback scenes

Collaborate with a diverse, student-led production crew
Requirements:
