Job Description
A new documentary project is seeking an experienced, self-sufficient Director of Photography (DOP) to capture stunning footage in a natural environment. This role is ideal for a cinematographer who can work independently with their own professional gear and has proven experience filming wildlife. The project requires creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for storytelling through powerful visual imagery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Film high-quality footage of wildlife and natural environments

  • Operate independently while managing all aspects of filming

  • Collaborate with the production team to achieve the project’s creative vision

  • Ensure all footage is captured safely and professionally in challenging outdoor conditions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DOP, preferably with wildlife documentaries

  • Ability to work autonomously in remote locations

  • Proficiency with professional filming equipment and own gear list

  • Strong portfolio or video demo showcasing recent work

  • Comfort working in nature and adapting to unpredictable shooting conditions
