Job Description
A major new 10-part BBC series set in the 1980s is seeking a talented teenage boy to play the lead role. The story follows an ordinary boy navigating suburban life in the Midlands during this time period. This is an incredible opportunity for a young actor to take on a major role in a high-profile television production.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray the lead character authentically and with emotional depth
- Work closely with the director and production team throughout filming
- Participate in rehearsals and filming as scheduled
Requirements
- Male, ages 13–15
- Must have strong acting skills and the ability to carry a lead role
- Must have parental or guardian approval to participate
- Must be available for filming in the UK during Spring 2026

- A boy from Liverpool with a playing age of 13 years- dual heritage.
William is aged 13yrs. Liverpudlian. Dual heritage boy who is being raised by his hard-working single-parent mother and is confused that his father is coming in and of their lives. He is quiet and watchful, and sensitive. We need an understated, naturalistic performance. This is a good role for an excellent young actor, and he appears across several episodes opposite the leading cast—A liverpudlian accent.
No previous professional acting experience is necessary, and this job will be paid
