Job Description
A production team is seeking background actors and performers for an upcoming short film project filming in Los Angeles, California. The production is casting a diverse group of talent to portray art gallery attendees, staff members, waiters, and a featured performer within a high-art gallery setting.

This project will involve filming scenes that capture the atmosphere of a contemporary art gallery event. Selected talent will help create a realistic and engaging environment as guests, staff, and performers within the scene. This is a non-union opportunity that provides copy, credit, and meals for participants.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as background talent in an art gallery event scene

• Portray gallery attendees, staff members, or service staff as directed

• Follow on-set direction from the production team and assistant directors

• Maintain character and natural interactions during filming

• Arrive on time and remain professional throughout the production day

Requirements

• Male or female performers ages 21–60 for gallery attendee roles

• Male or female performers of any race or ethnicity for gallery staff or waiter roles

• Female BIPOC performer in their 20s for a featured performer role

• Comfortable performing as background talent in a gallery event setting

• Must be able to provide a resume and headshot when applying

• Ability to follow production instructions and collaborate with cast and crew
