Job Description
A faith-based short film is casting dancers, actors, and background performers for an upcoming Christian dance film. The production explores themes of faith, purpose, and self-expression through powerful street dance performances. Filming is scheduled for early August in Nottingham, and performers with strong street dance skills are encouraged to apply.
The production is seeking lead performers, featured dancers, and energetic background dancers to bring this inspiring story to life.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as a lead, featured dancer, or background dancer in a faith-based short film.
- Participate in rehearsals and filming as scheduled.
- Execute street dance choreography and freestyle movement when required.
- Collaborate with the director and choreographer.
- Bring energy, passion, and professionalism to every performance.
Requirements
- Dan (Lead)
- Male, playing age 20–30.
- Strong street dancer with a confident stage presence.
- Passionate, bold, and capable of portraying a faith-driven character.
- Dancer 1
- Age 18–30.
- Open to any gender.
- Confident street dancer with competitive energy.
- Dancer 2
- Age 18–30.
- Open to any gender.
- Outgoing, competitive, and charismatic performer.
- Dance Crew / Background Dancers
- Ages 16 and older.
- Open to any gender.
- All street dance styles are welcome.
- Strong street dance skills required.
- Dance experience preferred but not essential.
- Must be able to dance confidently.
- Submit a dance reel or video along with contact details.
Compensation
- Unpaid independent short film.
