Adrian Supporting Role for Non-Union Short Film
Job Description
A non-union short film titled “Pussycat” is seeking an Afro-Latino male actor to portray Adrian, a supporting character described as Amara’s boyfriend. Adrian is country, slightly nervous, and has a distinctive personal style. The entire film is shot from a cat’s point of view, so the selected actor must be comfortable working with animals and performing naturally at cat-eye level. Filming will take place in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, New York.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray Adrian in a supporting role for the short film.
- Deliver a natural and engaging on-camera performance.
- Perform comfortably around animals.
- Adapt performances and positioning to the film’s cat point-of-view perspective.
- Follow creative direction from the director and production team.
Requirements
- Male talent.
- Ages 40–59.
- Afro-Latino.
- Comfortable working with animals.
- Able to perform naturally at cat-eye height.
- Must be available to work in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, New York.
Compensation
- $50.
