Job Description

Parallel Studios Media Network is casting for 13, an independent science fiction feature film filming in Victoria, British Columbia. This paid, low-budget production explores themes of control, freedom, and human connection through the story of a young woman who discovers she holds the key to stopping a global mind-control experiment.

The production is seeking passionate actors for several principal and supporting roles.

Principal Roles

• Masha Calibur – Female, ages 18–28. Strong, intelligent, resourceful, and the heart of the story.
• Colonel Dolores – Female, ages 40–60. Commanding, strategic, protective, and Masha’s aunt.
• The General – Male, ages 50–70. Powerful, authoritative leader with a hidden agenda.

Additional supporting roles are also available.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray scripted characters in a feature-length science fiction film.
• Attend rehearsals and filming as scheduled.
• Collaborate with the director and production team.
• Deliver authentic, emotionally compelling performances.
