Casting male actors to portray Civil War Federal soldiers for a film production. This is a great opportunity for history enthusiasts and reenactors to bring authenticity to the screen in a historically inspired project filming in Richmond, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray Civil War soldiers authentically on camera

• Wear appropriate costume or reenactor kit during filming

• Follow direction from production to maintain historical accuracy

Requirements:

• Men, ages 18–48

• Skinny to average build

• Short to medium length hair

• Civil War reenactors with full kit strongly encouraged to apply

• Locals fitting the description without a kit also welcome

Compensation:

• $200/day for reenactors with full kit

Casting is underway for a period production seeking male talent to portray 1860s civilians. This one-day shoot is perfect for performers with historical reenactment experience or those who can bring authenticity to a rugged 19th-century character. Ideal candidates will have strong facial features and an “Irish” look, though all types are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Wear period-appropriate costume (bring your own kit if available)

• Male, ages 18–50

• Must reside in or near Connecticut

• Comfortable with outdoor and period-style shoots

• Tough, rugged look preferred
