An upcoming short film is casting multiple lead and supporting roles in Louisville, Kentucky. This student production offers actors the opportunity to gain real on-set experience, receive mentorship from experienced filmmakers, and build festival-ready footage for their acting reel. While the project is unpaid, it provides valuable professional development and networking opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a lead or supporting role in the short film.
• Attend auditions, rehearsals, and scheduled filming dates.
• Collaborate with the director and cast throughout production.
• Deliver authentic, character-driven performances.

Requirements

• Casting the following roles:
  • Marcus Reed: African American male, ages 15–18 (Lead)
  • Jayden Reed: African American male, ages 9–12 (Supporting Lead)
  • Guardian: Female, ages 40–60
  • Mr. Jay: Male, ages 30–50
  • Spark: Male, ages 15–18
  • D-Ro: Male, ages 15–18
  • Aisha: Female, ages 15–18
