Job Description

A writing assistant software commercial is seeking a female hand model to perform a clear, on-camera pen-spinning demonstration. This is a hands-only role focused on clean, polished presentation and smooth, confident pen control for close-up shots.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform a professional pen spin on camera (must be highly consistent and camera-ready).

  • Follow direction for hand placement, speed, and repetition for multiple takes.

  • Maintain neat, clean, well-manicured hands suitable for close-up filming.

  • Provide requested submission materials and be responsive to production communication.

Requirements

  • Female, ages 20–40 (any ethnicity).

  • Must be a very good pen spinner and able to perform the “roll around” style spin confidently.

  • Must have nice, clean, well-manicured hands (no visible distractions for close-ups).

  • Local hire only (Greater Toronto Area).

Compensation Details

  • $750 all-inclusive

Job Description:

Mann Casting is seeking strong dancers aged 45-65 for an upcoming non-union commercial. We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about dance and capable of delivering a powerful performance. This opportunity is open to dancers of any gender and ethnicity who are based in Toronto.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend fittings, rehearsals, and shoots as scheduled.

  • Collaborate with the production team to bring creative concepts to life.

  • Perform dance routines as directed by the choreographer.

  • Be available for potential multiple shooting days within the specified dates.

  • Adhere to all guidelines and instructions provided by the casting and production team.

Requirements:

  • Must be a strong dancer aged between 45-65.

  • Open to any gender and ethnicity.

  • Must be based in Toronto.

Compensation Details:

Casting Call: BALLOON ARTIST for Project Pharma Commercial

Job Details: We seek a non-union actor aged 55-65 to portray a BALLOON ARTIST in an upcoming commercial project for Project Pharma. The ideal candidate should be able to create balloon animals; although balloon animal-making skills are an asset, they are not mandatory for this role. We encourage actors of all genders and ethnicities, including BIPOC options, to audition. The chosen actor should have a youthful and healthy appearance, with a memorable presence that captures attention.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray the role of a BALLOON ARTIST in a commercial setting.
  • Bring authenticity to the character through appearance and demeanor.
  • Engage in creating balloon animals if possessing the skill.
  • Collaborate with the production team to fulfill the creative vision.

Requirements:

  • Non-union actor aged 55-65.
  • Any gender and ethnicity (BIPOC options highly encouraged).
  • Memorable appearance that exudes a youthful and healthy demeanor.
  • Ability to create balloon animals is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Availability for self-tape submission, recalls, fitting, and shooting dates (see schedule below).
  • Must be available for travel during the specified dates.

Schedule:

  • Self-Tape Submission Deadline: August 21st, 10 AM
  • Recalls: August 23rd
  • Fitting: August 30th
  • Shoot Dates: August 31st and September 1st (talent required for 1 day)
  • Travel Availability: August 29th – September 2nd

Compensation Details:

  • Fitting: CAD 75 (2 hours)
  • Session: CAD 600 (10 hours) – Overtime paid at CAD 90/hour
  • Travel Days: CAD 350 per day
  • OCP Buyout: CAD 10,000
  • All rates are in Canadian Dollars
  • All rates are subject to a 15% agency fee

Renewal Compensation (2nd and 3rd Year):

  • 2nd Year Renewal: Initial buyout plus 10%, plus 15% agency fee
  • 3rd Year Renewal: 2nd-year buyout plus 10%, plus 15% agency fee

OCP Fee for Unaired Spots:

  • If the commercial spots do not air for 6 (six) months from the shoot date, an OCP fee will be owed to the performer: CAD 1000 plus a 15% agency fee

Usage Rights:

  • Term: 1-year buyout from the first air date, with an option to renew
  • Territory: Worldwide
  • Materials/Versions: All materials derived from the entitled shoot, including unlimited edits, lifts, versions, and screen grab still images for all media, including print advertising (ink to paper).
  • Media: Worldwide all media (including all print) and TV broadcasts.

Conflicts:

  • Exclusivity on the entire vaccine category plus the entire cold/flu category.
