Short Film Casting Call for Drama Project

Job Description
An upcoming short film is now casting actors for a powerful drama exploring grief, survivor’s guilt, and identity. The story follows a young man returning to the coastline where memories and family visions continue to haunt him. Casting directors are seeking emotionally grounded performers with strong dramatic ability for lead and supporting roles in this character-driven project filming at Seven Sisters Beach.

Job Responsibilities

  • Portray emotionally layered characters in a dramatic short film
  • Collaborate closely with directors and cast during filming
  • Deliver authentic performances centered on family relationships and emotional conflict
  • Participate in on-location filming at coastal settings
  • Follow creative direction throughout production

Requirements

  • Seeking actors for multiple lead and supporting roles
  • Male actors ages 24–30 for the role of Freddie
  • Adult actors ages 40–55 for parental roles
  • Must be able to perform a strong Manchester accent or native northern accent
  • White/European descent preferred for story continuity
  • Working-class authenticity and strong emotional range encouraged
  • Previous acting experience preferred
