Job Responsibilities

  • Perform scripted scenes in a character-driven comedic thriller

Requirements

Supporting Role – SAG Short Film

A SAG short film is seeking a highly skilled Black male-identifying actor in his 50s to join a professional production team on an upcoming New York City shoot. This supporting role offers an opportunity to work with a first-rate crew on a compelling short film project scheduled for early June.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform in a supporting role with depth, emotional range, and strong screen presence

  • Collaborate with the director and cast to bring authenticity to the story

  • Participate in rehearsals, blocking, and filming as required

  • Commit to professional conduct on set with punctuality and preparedness

Requirements

  • Black male-identifying actor, age range 50s

  • Must be SAG-AFTRA

  • Demonstrated acting experience in film or theater

  • Based in or able to work as a local hire in NYC

Compensation

  • $350 per day

  • Additional 10% agency fee if applicable
