Job Description

POSITION: Youth Cinema Project Mentor

Part-Time RATE : $30 per hour, plus mileage

LOCATIONS: CALIFORNIA – Must be within 50 Miles of Napa or in Imperial Valley

DESCRIPTION of POSITION DETAILS:

The Youth Cinema Project is a project-based program that teaches film to children and teens in the classrooms of public schools. YCP Mentors teach 90-minute film classes, twice a week, during regular school hours. The curriculum is provided. Mentors can expect to teach 7 – 21 hours a week and teach at all times with a co-mentor. Classes range from 4th-12th grade and mentors guide students through the entire filmmaking process for the duration of the school year.
