Job Description
An indie comedy feature film is urgently casting the male lead role of Jamie for production in Huntsville, Alabama. This coming-of-age story centers on a teen whose summer takes a dramatic turn after confronting a classmate about cheating, leading him into a mystery involving unexpected powers.

Jamie is a co-lead character, age range 16–18, who begins as a reserved and seemingly ordinary teen. As events unfold, he becomes inquisitive, cautious, and determined to uncover the truth. The role requires strong emotional range, subtle comedic timing, and the ability to portray character growth throughout the film.

This is an unpaid feature film opportunity; however, meals, lodging, a copy of the film, and IMDb credit will be provided. Leads and co-leads will also receive points in the film.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray the lead character in an indie comedy feature film

• Perform emotionally grounded and comedic scenes

• Participate in rehearsals and scheduled production blocks

• Collaborate closely with the director and cast

• Be available for Block 1 filming and potential Block 2 dates

Requirements

• Male, ages 16–18

• Strong acting ability with emotional depth and subtle humor

• Comfortable carrying a lead role

• Available for filming in Huntsville, AL

• Submit self-tape, demo reel (if available), resume, and headshot
