Job Description
A production company is casting a male actor to serve as a scene partner in a professionally filmed actor demo scene inspired by a detective-style “Benoit Blanc” tone. This project will be filmed in downtown Chicago and will feature a dialogue-driven scene designed to highlight strong acting performances. The role is ideal for experienced actors looking to collaborate on a professionally produced demo scene.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as a scene partner in a scripted detective-style demo scene

• Deliver dialogue with strong character presence and timing

• Collaborate with the lead actor and director to create a compelling scene

• Participate in scheduled filming and follow on-set direction

• Maintain professionalism throughout production

Requirements

• Male actor ages 35–45

• Non-union talent only

• Must have previous experience as a co-star or supporting actor with speaking lines

• Must have a professional acting reel, headshot, and resume

• Strong on-camera acting ability and comfort performing dialogue scenes

• Must be able to work as a local hire in Chicago

Job Responsibilities

• Perform as a scene partner in a short scripted demo scene.

• Take direction from the production team to achieve the intended tone and pacing.

• Arrive prepared, professional, and ready to film.

• Provide required submission materials (reel, headshot, and resume).

Requirements

• Male actor, ages 19–25.

• Non-union.

• Must fit a “frat brother” scene type.

• Must have a headshot to be considered.

• Must have a reel (preferred) and resume.

• Must be able to work locally with reliable transportation.

Compensation Details
