Casting directors Kimberly Hardin and Christian Bustamante are seeking Black female actors for the lead roles in the upcoming feature film Chloe & Janelle: Freshman Year. Inspired by true events set during the 1998 Clark Atlanta University scene, the film follows two lifelong friends whose lives take different paths amid the campus underground culture.

No acting experience is required, making this an opportunity for fresh talent.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray one of the film’s lead characters in a feature film.
• Participate in rehearsals and filming.
• Work collaboratively with the cast and production team.
• Be available for the full production schedule.

Requirements

• Black females, ages 18 to early 20s.
• No prior acting experience required.
• Must be available for approximately 4 weeks beginning in early September 2026.

Featured Film Role – Black Male, Blind or Low Vision

Job Description
Casting directors are seeking Black male talent, ages 18 to early 20s, who are blind or have low vision, for a featured role in an upcoming film. This project offers an opportunity to portray a meaningful role that authentically represents the blind and low vision community. Filming will take place in New York City and Albany, and union and non-union performers are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray the assigned character authentically and professionally

• Collaborate with the director and cast to bring the role to life

• Participate fully in all scheduled rehearsals and filming days

• Represent the blind or low vision community with respect and accuracy

Requirements

• Black male, ages 18 to early 20s

• Blind or low vision

• Must be available for filming mid-October through late November

• Submit a recent photo or headshot (required) and acting resume (if available)

• Optional: demo reel or performance links, TikTok, or Instagram

• Provide full contact details, city, union status, and agent contact if applicable
