Job Description
Casting directors are seeking Black male talent, ages 18 to early 20s, who are blind or have low vision, for a featured role in an upcoming film. This project offers an opportunity to portray a meaningful role that authentically represents the blind and low vision community. Filming will take place in New York City and Albany, and union and non-union performers are welcome to apply.
Job Responsibilities

Portray the assigned character authentically and professionally

Collaborate with the director and cast to bring the role to life

Participate fully in all scheduled rehearsals and filming days

Represent the blind or low vision community with respect and accuracy
Requirements

Black male, ages 18 to early 20s

Blind or low vision

Must be available for filming mid-October through late November

Submit a recent photo or headshot (required) and acting resume (if available)
